Exhibition Team Mentors & Students Smiling For the Camera With Their Awards

Our Special Needs Ballroom Exhibition Team had their Debut Performance at the Three Rivers Ballroom Dance Challenge on August 4th. The audience was cheering and the team received a standing ovation. Each team member was also awarded a medal from the judges for their participation.

In response to the performance, Jean Dee states, “It was very impressive to me that these young adults could have acquired such confidence in their newly learned ballroom dancing skills that they were ready to present their routine in front of an audience. And to watch the volunteer mentors having such an enjoyable time dancing with the students was very heartwarming. All the performers have every right to be very, very proud of themselves!”
